In celebration of my 10,000th tweet. I made me a batch of my world famous Michael's Sun Sweet Tea. I thank you all for having to hear me blabber blab all over the place this last year. My near secret recipe is now yours.
Simple as it is, please follow the directions to the T, for I have found that deviating from these instructions will produce a less than average batch of tea. I may have flunked chemistry in college but I have concocted the best recipe for sweet tea known to 7 or 8 people. Enjoy.
68oz Hot Water
2 Family Size Luzianne Tea Bags
1 Cup of Imperial Sugar
1 Hour in the South Texas Sun
Let the water faucet run until you get hot water. Place sugar in glass container. Fill container full of hot water. Stir sugar vigorously until well dissolved. Place tea bags in container. Leave out side in full sun for one hour. Discard tea bags. Enjoy over ice.
PS: Am I the only one left in America still making Sun Tea?
PPS: I use this
pitcher from Container Store and I love it.
PPS: AKA DiaBee Tea.
