It's the tenth day of Christmas y'all.
This has been my fave batch of cookies to bake these last few days. Not only are they delicious but they are also a cinch to bake.

Crazy cake expands five layers high while in the oven and actually nearly grazed the top of the oven.
I used to make a version of this cookie from an old cookbook that I stole from my mother. Time has not been kind and I have gently misplaced that book. Found this recipe on the interwebs and it is a close approximation to what I used to make in years past.
Wow it's been almost three months since I last posted on this food blog. I have been busy playing Civilization V and writing a novel that never came to fruition.
So I got in the Christmas spirit and have started baking Christmas cookies.
