It's a good sign when you see a rainbow right after planting your square foot gardens, right?

This year I put all the boxes together and still thinking that I might build another box and place it at the end.

My very rudimentary plan is above.  This year I didn't bother to string up the squares either.  Lazy, and everything will probably come out all crooked. 

So my plan again this year is simple, grow my own and take a bite out of the grocery bill.  Have you already noticed how expensive groceries are compared to this time last year?  I need to get me some chickens and some cows and some pigs to make my grocery trip more tolerable. Living in the city, I'm sure my neighbors would frown upon my animal menagerie.  How about honey bees?
