Wow it's been almost three months since I last posted on this food blog.  I have been busy playing Civilization V and writing a novel that never came to fruition. 

So I got in the Christmas spirit and have started baking Christmas cookies.  Found this recipe here on Saveur and I loved it because I was looking for cookies with pistachios as a core ingredient. 

They were pretty tasty but always I seem to find a recipe that is extensive and time consuming.  Oh well, it's a once a year 'kinda thing.
