REVIEW: Ding How

When am I going to learn?  There is not a decent Chinese restaurant in San Antonio.

Always I gravitate to Thai or Korean but S had a hankering for Chinese and we were driving by Ding How so we stopped.  It had been years since we had been here.  The parking lot was half empty and it was noon on a Sunday.  I could find no website.

We had the pu pu platter for an appetizer and I must say it was a most unappetizing and unappealing looking thing.  Everything was edible but it tasted like it came out of a frozen box.

I had the Szechuan Pork.  When the waitress brought out the entrees she joked that the Szechuan Pork looked exactly like the Triple Delight S ordered.  They did look exactly the same and probably tasted the same were it not for my spicy chilies scattered throughout my dish.

My dish was bland.  There was a lot on my plate but it was bland.

I left Ding How wanting more.  I shall not return for a long time.

1 Star out of 5

PS:  The waitress was pleasant and attentive.

PPS:  This is the place on stilts on 410.
