REVIEW: Chuy's
I didn't want to write another green chile blog but S suggested we try the Chuy's 22nd Annual Green Chile Festival. We went there after my devastating loss at the 4th annual Central Market Hatch Chile Recipe Contest. I placed with an Honorable Mention with my State Line Hatch Green Chile Meatball.
Honestly, past green chile festivals at this Tex Mex Restaurant have been sub-par but this year it was pretty good.
I always have a cup of Green Chile Stew at this joint and today was no different. Always it is hearty and tasty.
Tried the Roasted Pork Enchiladas off the Green Chile Menu. It was just the other day that I asked: why no pork enchiladas? After all there is chicken and beef and even shrimp but I have never see pork enchiladas on a menu. Ta Da! They were a bit chewy. Get it? A bit Chuy? But they were flavored oh so good.
The green chile rice was full flavored too.

PS: Last years Green Chile Festival is here.
PPS: Always I make fun of the utensils that are sanitized for your protection.
PPPS: They usually have green chile drinks but I could not find one this year. I settled for the swirl frozen margarita.
PPPPS: Always I have enjoyed their Q*bert inspired tile floor.
